Is tech really all that or is it just nothing more than a buzz word?

I feel like everyone I know wants to do tech and that tech is all that. I’m now afraid I’m missing out of the tech train and that I’ll permanently be locked out.

I’m doing IB in NY in a non-tech group. As such, how hard would it be for me to even make the jump.

Is tech even that great, or something people only talk about now because it’s cool but with zero substance.

If you were in my shoes, what would you do?
