Is the Rosenbaum and Pearl Investment Banking Guide an applicable way to prepare for my incoming FIG BB internship?

I'm curious if the Rosenbaum and Pearl IB guide would be beneficial to study for my upcoming FIG BB internship, or is the guide not as applicable to the FIG industry? What other guides/ modelling practice would be more beneficial to help prepare me for my upcoming internship? Appreciate any input.

It’s going to be a good reference for basic valuation methodologies but FIG is often very different; it won’t be that useful if you already know your technicals. Damodaran’s paper is a great prep source as mentioned above, I read that prior to my early internships

(Did an internship in a FIG related group at a top MM Freshman/sophomore year)

Any specific modelling that you think would be beneficial to work my way through to help prepare me for this summer?

I wasn’t able to find much when I was prepping at the time, so I’ll leave it up to others for modeling prep material. I will say I did a lot of financial modeling bootcamp type classes and practiced basic models. That allowed me to quickly pick up the FIG specific aspects on the job since I was comfortable in general modeling
