Is there a way to get a Corporate Banking Forum going?
Hey all,
Was just wondering if there would be any interest in getting a Corporate Banking forum going here? I feel like CB is a path that isn't as talked about as IB, but still is a very solid career path with a good WLB. For me personally, I didn't know much about Corporate Banking until I actually started interviewing and eventually joining a team, and I feel like having a forum for it would be worthwhile for people to learn about the business, comp, wlb, ops, etc

As a person in IB interested in CB, it would be very helpful to have this option instead of sifting through hundreds of posts to find CB related topics.
This would also help many people who are in commercial banking as well.

Corporate Banking is the way to go.
Tbh I think introducing flairs to posts would be a good idea. Like instead of having a bunch of forums for every single verticals in finance, there’s the IB forum but you can filter by Corporate banking, RX, DCM, etc. then something similar for the others
This is the way. Otherwise too many forums pop up and it dilutes the site in a way
Agreed. I also think that we can merge some forums e.g., HF with PE or Investments. Most of the topics discussed there often related to both of those others - not sure it needs it's own forum.
Would agree with option to add flair to posts based on verticals like corporate banking, commercial banking and keep it all in this forum because its active.
I agree. This website needs to be more organized and categorized by groups even for discussion posts as well. The only way to get specific info on here is going on google search engine and seeing old posts but then again that info tends to be outdated and the posts I am looking for get lost as they aren't as popular as IB or PE.
