Jeff Hogan leaves MS for Wells
What does a move like this do for Wells M&A?
Hogan was the Head of Global M&A at Morgan Stanley and will work the same role at Wells? This in addition to Malcolm Price leaving CS to run Sponsors at Wells

Maybe wells will actually get some M&A deal flow.
This was reported a while back so idk why you’d wanna talk about it now. I imagine with the senior hires WF MIGHT see some more actual M&A deal flow instead of solely being tacked on for financing, with a focus on TMT since that’s where Gudofsky and Hogan have backgrounds in, once things recover/once all these hires are settled in but beyond that I don’t think it’s like a super material change. Most of the MDs at WF are the same folks who don’t win much shit normally so unless they’re hiring a lot more good seniors I don’t really see that changing?
For prospects to analysts, I don’t really think it changes much for them as I doubt exits materially improve in the next two or three years
Congrats on your WF offer!
