Jefferies - MM? Boutique? Where does it sit now?

As title insinuates, interested to hear from others how Jefferies is viewed given their successful expansion over the last few years. Are they still considered a MM now that they're competing for larger deals? Are they closer to a Boutique (and no, I'm not suggesting Jefferies competes with PJT and EVR for mandates, more in line w/ Gugg which is labeled a boutique)? Want to get some sense of how the rest of the street currently views them, as they have historically been pretty average from my understanding, but have absolutely crushed it the last few years. TIA
