partial bump.

We get a cell phone and JEF has deals with major gyms across country to take advantage of. Time off is completely group dependent, but have heard from others in Tech that a long weekend is the best you'll do (4 days over MDW or LDW). 99% sure we get bags when they send our computers and shit for training. Unsure on any help with WFH setup. Dinner allowance still at $25 and don't know anything regarding training program. HR needs to chainblast an email for training it is ridiculously late to still not know.

My offer letter had cellular device in it, so I'm assuming we get one or an allowance for one. I would fucking hate to have my personal number also be my work number. Would think a global investment bank offers a business line to workers, but also have nothing to base that on.

edit: I just checked some of the numbers i have from people I interviewed with, and it appears they all have local numbers... so I am wrong. Hopefully they at least pay for our mobile plans.

Out of curiosity, what what your recruitment process like at JEFF? Did you have final round HR interview and how long after did you hear back?

Depends if you do the generalist program or apply to specific coverage teams. For me, I only applied to a specific coverage team and HR was never involved in the process outside of sending me my offer letter. Unsure how other teams work, but this was my experience. Took like 2-3 days to hear back but MD in my final round gave me a verbal

They have a world renowned program where they make you pay back all of your bonuses on a pre-tax basis when you leave. It kicks ass. CEO also will allow you to follow his personal Instagram so you can live vicariously through him, as he posts pictures of his long vacations with family members while you slave away at your desk. He's gotta spend all those bonuses he claws back on something!

Clawback only applies to senior ASO+ and doesn't count for PE or CorpDev. Culture can be rough, as with any bank, but it's banking and long hours are to be expected.
