Starting thread since RX is group specific this year. Anyone have any updates? How important is networking? Any show I get R1 with no contacts?

Networking, as always, is pretty important. Pretty sure Jeff starts recruiting in the NYC office sometime in april/may/june.
For reference, last summer they hired on ~6 people from the generalist pool.
so not everyone who does SA is guaranteed a return offer?

first rounds just came out, didn't network at all
Just beware if you're going into Rx at a group like Jefferies for the sole purpose of exit opps in Pe. Your shot at going buyout PE are drastically reduced. The only people who exit to good Pe buyout shops from Rx are at the top groups.However, still very good for credit positions.
