Job Hunting in the New Year
A little bit of info:
Graduated this past October from a top liberal arts school with a minor in business. Have actively been involved in finance for the past 5 years (i.e. president of investment clubs, member, etc), and lastly worked for a well regarded boutique mutual fund company in 2008.
Been hitting the pavement for the past few months but nothing yet. Have had 2 real interviews, one for S&T but got canned, the other for research never got an official answer and still left wondering, and a handful of informational interviews.
Anyway, my question is now a good time to be trying for full time positions as december just ended, bonuses where handed out and people are jumping ship....?
Also... Even though i'm done undergrad should i be looking at some summer internships?
try to find something unpaid if you can afford it, easier to get a job when you have a 'job'...
