Job offer rescinded because of grade?

Hi, this is my first post here, I worked as a summer analyst in a BB last summer with an on-track 2:1. The firm extended me a return offer this year. However, I think I am going to screw up my final year grade. In the end, I may get a high 2:2 instead of a 2:1 as the condition stated on my graduate role contract.

Has anyone encountered this before? Did your HR still let you pass, or rescind ur offer instead?
