Worked at fedex summer 2020. Was so ass. Worked 2am-11am in a sorting tower. All day would stare down a conveyor belt and sort packages 6 different ways. 14$ an hour and whole place was hispanic so I couldn’t speak to anyone for the most part. Also didnt allow headphones. -rep fedex

Funniest

Hahaha damn that sucks man. I used to work for UPS during the winter holidays in college, but as a delivery helper instead of a warehouse sorter. Was actually pretty dope, you got to ride around in the UPS truck all day and rip cigs with the delivery driver, occasionally hopping out to drop off some packages.

I guess even in the freight industry the back-office sucks lol.

I know a guy that is going to BUDS to try and be a Navy Seal after he receives that AN2 bonus.

Life is what you make it and people are in IB for so many different reasons. Do not feel like you are stuck. If you are that unhappy, find something you really enjoy and chase after it.

Idk I find it really fine. Maybe it's because I spent so much of my youth dicking around a computer alone in my room, but as long as my boss doesn't grinds my gears I'm a happy camper. Seriously, great pay, expensed meals, a nice computer setup, you can think about companies all day long, people take you serious, corporates will take you in a heartbeat after you got some notches on your belt - maybe I am shallow, or retarded, or simply autistic, but to me this is a really fun time. Exhausting, sure, but quite fun.

Or just a naïve Analyst 1 who hasn't ramped up to full capacity yet and is enjoying the introductory period of IB where people set you up with easy, layup tasks all day to build your confidence. Give it 24 months bruh bruh, you'll be kicking rocks like the rest of us.
