JP banker poached by Citi is a menace

The Financial Times article really makes this guy looks like a cutthroat rainmaker. Anyone have any experience / stories of working under him?

“A waste of calories” is something I lowkey should add to my vocabulary though lmao

Looks like he fulfilled the ticket of nepotism getting his kid a spot on the tech team then Silver Lake.

“Raghavan allegedly recounted a story about an attractive woman he had been distracted by while he was a student. Now, he told them, “she was fat”, while he was an executive at JPMorgan.” 😂😂😂😂 he’s bringing banking back

He doesn’t give two effs about gender quotas and straight up told Citi management that he won’t enforce them. Pick either performance or virtue signalling. No more handouts

Like the mindset but a bit hypocritical when you then demand they hire your daughter / kids. Screw quotas only when it’s helpful to me.

You will never be able to eliminate nepotism hires. They are usually less than 0.5% of seats vs. women being allocated 50% across the spectrum.

Dude is hilarious. Wish i had a boss like him when i worked in banking.

who is the kid he got hired from his family in 2023. I have been trying to find him.

Was a she not he. Was a FT hire in tech but exited back to Silver Lake. Caused internal drama for the analyst stint.
