Think of it as LevFin + IB + random one offs (CFA, DCM/IGF, Credit, Ratings). Many groups within CCB are different (some do more levfin, some more IB, some more treasury). Fundamentally, all are levfin based groups. You have direct exposure to IB in many of the CCB groups and are sometimes cross staffed. However, it does not get the best reputation since not many people understand the position itself since it is very JPM specific. Note you are series 79 and 63 licensed and train with IB (at least for now that’s how it is).

Base is same as IB, bonus is about 40-50% of base (note IB bonus is ~70-90%) depending on bucket. Hours vary but can be 60-65 sometimes but can easily bleed into IB territory at 80-100+ when on something live (in some situations you may find analysts working IB hours for months on end if credit is very active).

Exits vary but are primarily top credit funds (ares, apollo, kkr, oaktree) with some small PE shops and corporate finance positions as well.

Overall great group if you want to go to credit, but not so great for other exits (although doable).
