J.P. Morgan Full-Time Mobility (FO to FO)

Hi everyone - I was wondering if anyone has any experience with full time mobility at J.P. Morgan, from FO to FO. Specifically, from a quasi banking role under their markets division (think, Real Estate Cap Markets, ABS Banking, Cap Markets type desks, etc).

I've seen several individuals on LinkedIn who have went from a very back office role to a FO IB coverage/levfin role after 2 years through internal mobility, but was wondering if anyone has any anecdotes regarding difficulty or what their strategy in doing so was. The firm touts internal mobility as a strength, but would be good to get some color here from people who have tried it or have had friends try it.

Also, I would be happy to do 2 years in one of these roles and start over as a 1st year analyst in IB, I am just wondering how realistic this is, or if the cases I see on LinkedIn are strong outliers.
