J.P. Morgan Group Placement
Recently accepted a 2023 SA offer with JPM (NY). HR said that group placement typically starts the January before your summer, with groups being finalized by March. Anyone been thru the JPM group placement process for NY? How formal was the process? Would you recommend that I reach out to groups I'm interested in before the "official" start of group placement, or would it be better to wait (don't want to annoy analysts).
I would start reaching out in Nov/Dec... maybe late fall. Definitely not during the summer or early fall. TBH the actual process is pretty relaxed but you will end up taking 30+ calls in a span of 2 weeks once the process kicks off. This was my experience when networking into 3 top groups at the firm.

Had a call with someone from JPM Healthcare. Depends on the person of course, but they absolutely can ask you technicals, so I'd prepare for them.
