JP Morgan IB 2020 Summer: Still Waiting and confused? (Waiting since Hirevue, London)

Hey!

Did the hirevue and got an email a month later saying I wasn't rejected just taking time to sort each application individually. They looked at one of my applications a month ago again but still no word.

I called up and they said that they don't think I'm rejected but they can't check or tell me if I'm through to the next stage so I'm a little confused why they told me to call that line at all if they can't actually tell me.

In total its been 4 months about to 5 so just curious if its a dud or not and if anyone else is in the same position? My friends seem to all have been rejected or through to the next stage by now yet I'm still in limbo.

Not sure what the timeline for recruiting is like for JPM this year, but it would be very late to hear back at this stage. Typically, they usually have all their interns locked in by around now. Maybe this year is different, but that would be my impression.
