For JP's Ib summer analyst program, can you recruit/network for specific groups like M&A,FIG, DCM etc.. or do you interview as a generalist and then get placed into a group? I have a few contacts in a specific group and feel I have higher chances of recruiting for a specific group rather then being interviewed as a generalist. Thoughts?
