I just met an MD at JPMC in London. Later, saw his LinkedIn and it shows he went from JPM IB to JPM Chase IB (has separate lines/companies on LinkedIn).
And his email format is slightly different from another JPM MD I know.
What's the difference? I just thought Chase was the commercial side. But I see MDs in IB at JPMC and JPM written separately.

In 2000 there was a merge of Chase company and JP Morgan, It's kinda Bank of America & Bank of America Merill Lynch

I was confused because he specifically has JPM IB MD -> JPMC IB MD in recent years not related to the merger.
JPM is now going as JP Morgan Chase more. No difference at all. Just naming
