JPM M&A Group (CHI) vs. PJT NYC
Hey everyone, what are your thoughts on the above choice? For some context, JPM M&A in CHI works on all the same deals as NYC.
My current understanding is JPM M&A is a better group but of course NYC is the better city for exit opps. Do you think that the city is super important when you've got a great group like JPM M&A?
PJT NY all the way.
M&A at both places but probably better experience at PJT (leaner deal teams, more substantive work, etc), better pay at PJT, likely better culture as well.
Think MF PE recruiting from Chicago is an uphill battle but doable
