M&A, it’s not even close.
May I ask why? Does M&C do modeling in house ?
Comps are spread in house, but M&A will hold pen on the models.
Isn’t HF does really recruit people with pure M&A but rather coverage
Bro you gotta work on your english. Wtf are you even trying to ask lmao
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they're trying to ask whether HFs actually recruit from M&A or if they lean more towards coverage? Would also love to hear opinions about HC vs M&A - am well aware that the hours are a lot worse in HC but is it worth having the broader exposure?
On the HF piece. They don’t give a fck. They are hiring bankers for “good athletes” they can mold. No one hiring IB analyst for their “sector expertise”.
If you just care abt HC just join M&A and express your interest in HC deals. Coverage groups are typically cancerous experiences. Much rather be in M&A because M&A groups aren’t really groups, rather they are just a pool of resource so no added pressure to suck seniors’ dick 24/7.
