Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't a specific breakdown of the JPM SA London (LDN) class profile in the provided context. However, discussions on WSO often highlight that top-tier UK universities like Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Imperial, and Warwick dominate placements in London-based investment banking roles, including summer analyst programs. European universities such as Bocconi, HEC Paris, and St. Gallen are also frequently mentioned as strong feeders.

If you're looking for a detailed class profile, it might be worth exploring employment reports or reaching out to current analysts for insights.

it's just better to go to a target school in Europe than a semi in UK

Weird not seeing LBS here though. But I heard their outcomes fell off a bit in recent years

LSE even. They've fallen so hard. Years ago it would have dominated this ranking

Makes sense. All top tier MiFs towards the top so if someone was aiming for London IB it looks like it's a better bet to go to one of the EU targets (Bocconi HEC ESCP Hsg) rather than go to a UK semi target.

I imagine since sponsorship for the bulge bracket firms is not a problem so they can get the best of the best, rather than limit themselves to UK.

I would say maybe 30%. The monolingual English speakers are almost always British citizens from UK schools (LSE / Oxbridge / Imperial / Warwick / Durham) usually.

The europeans rarely pick the UK teams, but the ones who do either want to have an easier time (trying to max chances of return) or struck out on recruiting for the EMEA team and want to do only a particular sector

Also all the UK students are pussies that are too scared to recruit for EMEA teams. Genuinely...

Imo this is the real target school tier list for London.

Hsg ngl is the most impressive with the smallest class size out of these schools.

The rest are usual suspects HEC bocconi ESCP Imperial LSE and Oxbridge. Speaking a European language (French ideally) along with these will give the best chances

It gets even crazier when you watch more closely at the best teams and return offer rates
