Student at a target Ivy, non diversity.
Which one of these two firms will provide better exits if one is going for large cap buyout (MF)?

It's group dependent, but assuming random group EVR will place better into MF buyouts. That being said, JPM HC > almost every EVR group for exits, and certain groups within each are much weaker than others.
For corporate development / startups JPM.
Eh Tech, Media, and Telecom groups are likely same or better, some fantastic exits
JESUS CHRIST YOU VIRGINS NEED TO GET OUT MORE
if you have to think about or rely on whether EVR exits better than JPM HC or vice versa, these exits are not for people like you
agree with above comments, and its really splitting hairs but would prefer JPM

Curious about exits in JPM’s tier 2 groups like FIG, DI, Power&Renewables
The benefit of EVR is if you’re an intern you will actually get a return and won’t be violated by JPMs heinous sub50% return rates
-former JPM intern
what are returns like at tech group?
You realize on cycle happens before you even start, right? Meaning that as long as you are at a top bank/group, you will get looks from headhunters. At that point it is on you. EVR probably has more hardos going for top PE but as others have stated JPM top groups would be on par (M&A, HC).
