JPM Wholesale Payments or PwC Management Consulting > FINAL GOAL IBD

Hey, I currently have offers from JPM in their wholesale payments division and form PwC for their management consulting associate role, both at the London office.

my eventual aim is to make it to IB, either through an MBA or laterally (I know, I like dreaming).

to achieve this, I don’t know how I should proceed. While JPM would show my interest in finance, the role at PwC might be more client-facing and beneficial?

Definetly would go for PwC unless wholesale payments is strictly related to Corporate Banking.

The transition IMO it’s always risky, better to start off in consulting (FO and better exits anyway) and lateraling later in IB (hard to reach top BB without a IB stint in tier 2 banks but doable)
