Career Resources
At my school 4 of the BBs did junior SA OCR in mid/late November. The rest of the BBs and all MMs/boutiques were early second semester. I know all BBs which recruit in spring have early recruiting for people abroad in spring but have no idea what the process is like for banks that recruit in fall for people abroad in fall.
Your best bet is to ask your connections and/or HR what you should do.
Double post
They will definitely do a phone screen with you (if you can make it this far) and then you may/may not have to travel to do the internship. I don't see what the big deal is. Tickets aren't too expensive and you might consider working while abroad if you cannot afford the ticket right now.
