If you want to do M&A and exit into PE Baird will be better.
Are there exits to other areas outside of PE where you would favor Key or Truist compared to Baird?
No. Any exit relating at all to M&A will favor Baird. Outside of M&A, Truist and KeyBanc aren't big enough names that they would help you in any way.
Baird seems like best platform and being private an advantage.
Baird most certainly. They have decent exits, based on LinkedIn profiles. If you are interested in HC, Baird has a focus in all sectors of HC while KeyBanc (thu' Cain) appears to be more focused on service providers and insurance.
