LA Boutique / MM IB Recruiting Timeline for Summer Analyst Roles

Does anyone have insight into the recruiting timeline for LA boutique and middle-market investment banking summer analyst roles?

I’m mainly asking about firms like Stifel, Piper Sandler, Lincoln International, Oppenheimer, D.A. Davidson, BMO, CIBC, and similar advisory platforms or smaller LA-based boutiques.

A few questions:
(1) How early do these firms usually recruit for summer analyst positions in LA?

(2) Do LA boutiques and MM banks ever recruit later in the cycle, such as fall or early winter?

(3) Are there specific LA firms that tend to have less structured or more networking-driven processes?

(4) Are there any smaller LA boutiques worth paying attention to that students may overlook?
