Laptop for IB

I currently have a Mac computer. I’m looking to buy a PC computer for my IB internship in the summer. I’m thinking about the Surface Pro 7. I’m also debating selling my Mac. I’m only attached to it because it makes my life easier with copy/pasting from my phone, airdrop, ft and iMessage etc... Should I sell it to up my budget on my PC?

What PC laptop recommendations that are reasonably priced? Should I buy an average laptop to get through my internship or just buy a nice one as an investment?

Thanks.

Why is this getting MS? Banks will provide either a laptop or desktop if virtual. if you're in person, will not be encouraged/allowed to remote in, better off waiting for after your internship when you can afford a nice laptop (one with enough horsepower to do much for IB will run you 1k).
