Lateral recruiting
Anyone have any tips or general advice for lateral IB recruiting. Currently ~7 months into my first year but feeling unsatisfied with the work, learning progress, and culture. Anything helps, thanks!

Have you started networking?
When I lateraled in banking I surprisingly got good traction from applying to roles on bank career pages / linkedin. Though ultimately the role I got was due to a connection which allowed me to fast track the lateral process.
I’d suggest really brushing up on technicals and your deals as they will be very important in these interviews. If you have contacts at the banks you’re targeting from your undergrad days, try to reach back out.
