Lateraling with no closed deals
How hard is it to lateral as a first year IB analyst from a no name boutique to another boutique or a MM if you have no closed deals?
The whole reason I want to leave my current bank is lack of deal flow, but it sounds like closing deals is requisite for moving on to a better bank. It’s a bit of a catch 22.
Can relentless networking overcome my lack of deal exposure? Any thoughts/advice would be great
