I'm currently a first year analyst (laterally from a regional bank) that's grown jaded with banking. I was looking to explore GE/VC roles in my T1 city, but also saw that some consulting roles at the big 3 were open as well. Would it be stupid to try and lateral again to a consulting role coming from banking in terms of career progression?
