Lazard FIG Group – Interview Process & Group Culture Insights?

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a second-round interview coming up with Lazard’s FIG group and was hoping to get some insight into what the group is actually like — especially in terms of lifestyle.

I know FIG tends to be pretty intense across the street, but wondering how Lazard FIG stacks up. Is it one of those groups where you’re consistently getting crushed, or is it manageable (by IB standards, of course)? Any insight on how “sweaty” the culture really is would be super helpful — trying to get a realistic view of what I’d be signing up for if I move forward.

Also curious about:
• What to expect in the second round — technical depth, any curveballs, etc.?
• How the group is structured (coverage vs. product, deal flow, etc.)
• General team vibe if anyone’s had exposure

Appreciate any thoughts or DMs — anything helps. Thanks in advance!
