learn how to LBO in a day?
Interviewing for a lateral position next week and don't have a ton of experience with LBOs. I know what they are, why they're used, who good candidates of an LBO are, and can do a paper LBO, but I don't have much modeling experience.
Is it possible to get proficient at it in a day? If so, do you suggest using a specific source like WSP or BIWS?
Lol
Yeah if you spent a full day studying/practicing you could get a basic LBO down, assuming you know all the concepts well
awesome, thanks. do you know of any good templates? I think they'll just ask me for a simple lbo model so I don't want to confuse myself by getting too much in the weeds. thanks in advance
The WSP LBO course is pretty good. If you do that and then try to recreate it yourself, should be in pretty good shape.
thanks! is that one pretty full blown advanced or relatively simple. I don't want to overly complicate it when I'm first learning so if you know of any simple model templates and lessons, i'd really appreciate. i am comfortable with paper lbos already, just need to work on the modeling itself
