Learning curve for FT analysts

I have accepted a FT offer at a MM firm that will begin in July 2021. Would anyone be willing to shed some light on how the first few months go as an analyst – are hours worse or better at the beginning? How does training often work? What projects are you expected to work on? When do you begin to see yourself fully staffed on deals? Etc.

I am coming from Equity Research Internships, so I do not exactly have the SA experience to build off of.

Learning curve could take some time.  You probably wont be staffed on any projects day one but will just be given small tasks until your licensed. Then you will get staffed as projects come in. I will say depending on how your training is structured you may have it spread out over a month due to COVID or you may still have it crammed in a week.  Hours will be worse until you get ramped up.
