Leaving private credit for Rx

I’m a 2025 grad about to start in a MM private credit firm (distressed/special sits team) in London (ignore title). The role is surprisingly interesting and the firm has pretty cracked seniors, but I’m unsure as to whether it has good exits or whether I see myself here long term.

As the title suggests, I’m thinking of recruiting for Rx (ideally at Laz, HL, Rothschild… or even BB workout teams) through a mix of grad programmes, off-cycles, etc.

Is this a common move? Would it be crazy to leave a full-time job for an OC?

I’d appreciate any help!
