i have heard from friends somewhere around 10-15 spots out of 150 would be open for FT, so very difficult but certainly not impossible. keep in mind lehman doesn't formally recruit for these spots so you need someone to pass your resume along to HR

Ummm in London they have a complete graduate recruitment scheme just like all the other banks. And most of their places are filled by SAs just like at all the other banks. But still, many people do get hired without an internship, just like at all the other banks.

Don't know what the story is for NY though.

are you sure they don't formally recruit for FT? I go to a school in Toronto and the NY office even posted for a FT job here, not sure if they actually took someone last fall but I would imagine if they posted here they would post at all the target schools in the US for FT as well.

In any case I know a VP in FIG, so I can probably get him to forward my resume. Thanks for all the info guys.
