Less competitive positions?
Just curious, is the competition for BB Corporate Banking (e.g., JPM, BAML, etc), AM/WM, S&T, equity research, Capital Markets, and other FO positions less for these positions compared to IB or are they all roughly the same level of competitiveness?
I'm asking this coz TBH I could see myself doing IB, AM, Commercial Banking, and/or Capital Markets, but since i'm not the most competitive applicant for IB (3.5 gpa at target school) , I want to maximize my chances of being able to enter one of those fields.
