Leveraged Finance at Credit Suisse
Is the Leveraged Finance team at Credit Suisse under capital markets or does it all fall under the financial sponsor's group?
Info for London would be helpful but NY is also fine.

In the US, LevFin is a separate product group at CS and falls under IBD not capital markets. I would assume the same for London but not sure.
You are incorrect, IB is CMA. CS keeps on rebranding their IBD department for some reason.

The thing is I have an offer for an internship at CS for capital markets and I'd like to know if I can pick LevFin. If it's in the Advisory side I won't be able to, if it's under DCM then its fine.
I work at CS NY. Lev fin was moved to the IB side of IBCM (I.e. its part of group placement for IB and not CM).
afaik CM placement is either ECM or DCM (don’t have a pick between certain pods within each)

No, LevFin is not in CM. Capital Markets is only ECM and DCM

If OP received an offer to join CMA then yes, LevFin and all other coverage and product groups are encompassed under this term
