It depends - there is very strong deal flow within that group (especially when markets are hot/less volatile) so would expect perhaps 70-80 hours per week for juniors. Exits include PE at Apollo, Francisco Partners, Blackstone, Permira, Veritas, HIG etc most recently.
Both are great options, I believe FSG is the best group at CS both 'prestige' / culture wise

I don't know anything about the hours, but a friend of mine at CS FSG signed with a top EU buyout (Permira / Apax / CVC). Take that as you will.
How much of a reputation of a group is based on historical legacy ? For example if all the MDs at CS FSG or GS TMT left would those groups still have prestige?
How would any group fare if all the rainmakers left? Ultimately it’s those relationships and not the name on the door that matters.
