Lincoln International

Can someone shine some light on Lincoln's reputation on the street?
- What firms would you group in the same bucket with Lincoln?
- What are typical exit opportunities for analysts?
- I know that headcount is pretty high in Chicago, NY, and SF. What about LA? I'm from the West Coast and am interested in banking in SF/LA, but I see myself trying to get to NY in a few years.
- Do the exit opps vary based on the different locations?

Chicago does well. Specifically in industrials> Lincoln was built on industrials. Typically do smaller deals sell side sponsor backed type stuff. Respectable shop for sure. Would aim for their Chicago office as it’s their HQ and will likely get the best experience compared to other offices. Would compare them a step below the HL/Baird/Blair but a very respectable shop in the mm space

Comp is street I believe. Heard their capital advisory group got paid this year. Also heard it’s sweaty.

LA is a horrible process ~ they string you along for a WHILE
