from what i know - their London office doesn't have a merchant banking arm. Merchant banking is strictly in NYC. Culture is great from what I've heard and they run extremely lean. I also read somewhere on WSO that they're heavily weighed towards telecom mandates right now.

 

My wife is an exec at a media company currently working with them. As an unaffiliated expert at this, I haven't been impressed by the quality of work. Maybe it's just this deal team though...and I don't know any of them personally. I have done enough processes to detect legit or BS from a mile away. Signed LOI though so that's something - at least they are closing deals.
