List of transactions advised

hey guys. quick question. is there a site that has info on what transactions certain banks advised on? for example, I'm interested in knowing what M&A transactions in tech Bank X has advised in the past year or so. smaller shops have the tombstones on their site, but BBs don't. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Yes, this is something CapIQ can source. Go to:

Screening -> Transactions ->

-> Then under "General Transaction Details & Fees" you can pull lists for Financial Advisors (or Underwriters, lead underwriters, accounting firm used, legal advisor, etc.), simply type the companies you want to see listed as advisors.

If you want, you can obviously get more specific as to deal type as well. For example, I can check every deal CSFB did in the Tech space from 1998-2002, every time that GS and JPM advised counter-parties of a deal, etc.

I'm sure you can do this on FDS as well, it will prob just be a lot less intuitive.
