Locked box - value accrual
When preparing a locked box schedule - specifically the cash profits element - in the calculation of cash profits do you include PIK interest i.e. do you deduct PIK interest to get back to the cash profits figure between the locked box date and completion?
Yes, some one needs to pay for it
Haven't seen this in practice but I'm inclined not to deduct them.
