London Assessment Center SA
Hey, does anyone have any insights on what assessment centers for IB summer analyst positions in London at BB/EBs looks like?
Are they extremely technical? And what can I expect from a case study - what is the task there?

I don't think I've ever been asked technicals for IBD SA ever. But then again I do science so maybe they never expected me to know. Most of the time its just group discussions.

I’m from a finance background so it might be different.
From personal experience (did 2 ACs for 22 IB Summer) + from what I have been told it's heavily dependent on the firm. Some might have a collective case study while other don't etc..
Had 2 ACs for SA 22
7 Interviews in total:
- 2 technicals (much more market awareness and as you go along the valuations and multiples question start to appear)
- 2 behavioural
- 1 leadership (sort of behavioural but more geared towards values as opposed to the traditional tell me about a time… type of questions)
- 1 case study (Decide on whether to take a company onboard as a client or not and build a ppt presentation with your reasoning)
- 1 graduate networking panel (just talking) for half an hour with people on the graduate programme)
