London BB FT 2023 Offers Strength
I've accepted an offer for 2023 FT at one of the big banks, but am curious on your thoughts whether the recent M&A slowdown might have an impact on this offer being withdrawn. Not sure if I should prepare a back-up plan in case this might happen (Tech / Master's degree)

I've got the same qs as my friends who got an FT this time round 2022 and were told they could start early in Jan/Feb 2023 have been told it'll now be April earliest or most likely July (normal)
Which bank is this? Typically only a few banks that allow the option to start in Jan / April ....
My offer is for an EB starting July 2023

I imagine quite unlikely that any banks will pull FT offers for traditional coverage / M&A teams at least

Depends on the bank, I would start looking at other options. Talks within my group about analyst offers being withdrawn due to market conditions (can't go into further detail but is BB) Already had a low SA return rate the past summer
