London Full Time Recruiting

Hey,

I have 2 interviews lined up at a BB for an Analyst Role in IB and wanted to know if anyone has any tips regarding the interview process in London.

I am unfamiliar with London as I am from another EU country and would like to know if there is anything different in London.

Cheers!

Haven't done FT recruiment but from SA:

Technicals tend to be easier than the US but would still recommend being solid there, you'll be competing with some HEC/Bocconi hardos who will have practiced extensively/already have 4 internships under their belt (assuming you're not one of them). I think that with there being less technicals there can be more commercial awareness questions so know about your sector trends (if sector specific role). And finally general thing but relax, at the end of the day for IB you'll be working many many hours together with these people, they don't want to spend that time with someone they're not comfortable with, so just relax before the interview, smile and be amenable, I don't think it's bad to take small pauses in your explanations, showing you're confident and not pressed. Also a solid why this firm, at least for SA people seemed to care about that a decent bit (think it's just an easy cut for interviewers)
