For lateral hiring, have heard the best time to be reaching to headhunters/recruiters is near when analyst bonuses are paid - as that's when a bunch of analysts quit and banks are looking to fill the gaps.
For people working in London, can you post when your bank tells you your bonus and when it gets paid? I understand there is typically a month lag or so between these dates
