London IB recruitment profile review assuming I make it into LBS MFA

Undergrad from Engineering College in India with a first class honours

Worked 1 year as an intern and started full time as an analyst at a boutique Equity Fundraise and M&A investment Bank out of Bangalore, where I worked on collaterals for a $100Mn EV M&A (fell through post termsheet) and currently working on a consumer AI fundraise mandate (8-10Mn)

Assuming I make it into the LBS MFA for the 2027 intake, how will this work ex reflect in London IB interviews - is the boutique tech IB experience valuable? How will it compare to peers with Big 4 transaction advisory experience (which a lot of the MFA students seem to have)

I would be aiming for roles at London Boutiques, especially in tech, instead of BBs

Would love to hear thoughts from LBS/LSE alums

Thank you
