As someone in first year at uni looking to apply en masse to small boutique firms in London for informal summer internships, when should I reach out to firms? Would it be unnecessary to reach out before Christmas, or is that standard? I'm guessing it's later than normal 'formal' summer applications, but I'm not sure. Any help would be great!
