London Re-recruiting Advice

I am currently a junior in college and have secured an internship at an EB in London for this summer. While I am genuinely appreciative of the opportunity, I believe it's important to keep my options open as I navigate my career path. I am keen on exploring opportunities at other banks not only as a backup plan but also to potentially secure a better starting point for my post-college career.

I've noticed networking might not be as big here as in the US. Should I just email HR at other banks to ask if there are any other spots or options? Or is that a bad move that could mess up my chances with my current bank?

You should be focussing 100% on getting a return offer from your EB, not putting any effort into anything else.

Second this. Get a return offer. Market is very tough.

You can get coffees in with other firms as well to try to spread your wings when the time is right.
