If you haven't worked in UK before or your cumulative full year income in UK is below £12000, you will get a full refund of the tax payment at the end of tax year (towards April 24 in your case). Plus, if you don't take your paid holidays, they'll pay you tax adjusted amount for that as well.
I'm based internationally, so does that mean that I will be eligible for a full reclaim on the tax payment as you've said?
Additionally, are IB prorated salaries calculated by dividing the annual pay by 52 weeks (like consulting?)
pay / 52 * (duration of internship) = internship pay + holiday

You have already got an answer for pay calculation.
In regards to tax, you will be able to reclaim it in full if you don't work anywhere in a whole tax year. In other case, the calculation of tax refund would depend on where exactly your total income in a tax year falls in different tax buckets.
