London SA Wrapping Up?
Hi everyone,
I know there is a London SA progress thread already, but I just wanted to get insights from people that went through the process in the past years.
So basically I have applied to all BBs/EBs + a lot of others like BNP/Nomura/RBC etc. and got very few first rounds so far, no ACs yet, obviously rejections in there but still a decent amount where I haven't got an update yet. I have always applied within the first week/ten days of apps opening at most, usually much closer to the opening date.
Is it realistic to still expect to hear back in the next couple of weeks (given that ACs have been ongoing for a month now) or should I consider myself dinged and move on? What banks are close to filling up (heard BofA and UBS are soon done)?
I'm in the same situation, heard many other people too. SA recruitment honestly sounds shitty this year
There is usually ACs running until Mid-Dec for BBs/EBs. Start looking into MMs that have a structured recruiting pipeline (ie shops done by DP) such as DC advisory etc.
also try to take a step back and understand why you didn’t make the cut for the first rounds you got.
Is there any material difference between the top 3 BBs in London ( JPM VS GS VS MS)?. Should one always choose GS over the other 2 or more go with the teams. which would one you say is stronger in the healthcare space specifically. I have read your thread but couldn't derive the answer from there.
